If they went broody I'd probably but some eggs and let them raise some of their own aswell. If you had pictures of an outdoor run it would be very helpful. Thanks

My button pen is indoors. I keep my coturnix outside, but they're cold hardy.

It's usually a nutritional issue with quail, when they get feathers growing that way! I don't see any 'angel wing' in that chick. Sometimes their wing feathers grow at a different rate from the other feathers and they appear to be sticking up or out from the rest of the feathers.

Hi, one of the Quail chicks "Pesto" keeps pulling out feathers of all the others. Then he eats them. No one else does.

The quail are 2 weeks old now. What colour variety is Pesto? Would u be able to tell if she's a girl or a boy. I cant see speckles on the others yet as theyre only growing them back.

not sure on male or female, but the color could be Italian.
