We take our dogs to art festivals and stuff and people really will open an aisle in a crowd when you come walking through!
We decided to dress our dogs in sunglasses and neckerchiefs and now Moms whip there kids in front or 'em and say 'Look, its a Spuds dog!' What is really funny is they don't even recognise what breed they actually are!
A while back we had a 'pitbull attack' when 2 dogs injured somebody and there was a great big media blitz about it.
Turns out they weren't pitbulls or even pitbull mixes, but some kind of hound/lab mix. I know the vet for the Harris county shelter and she interviewed the owners.
A lot of people think any aggressive dog is a pit bull and they don't even know what one should actually look like. There is and incredible amount of blind uninformed prejudice out there.
oops, got one sideways and don't know how to fix it!

When I returned home from California to visit the folks.. I came with my pitty Venus.. My mom took one look at her and said
" That dog is not coming in this house, we have children here that it could hurt!" .. We talked, she allowed ol' Venus in her door and 2 nights later Venus was sleeping in my parents bed.. under the covers, of course!
Awesome video. My Mullett (rip) would not hurt a fly.
