pitbulls and chickens

we have 15 chickens and they love our dog.pitbull her name is Roxie and I don't think she's going to let any coyotes or foxes get to her chickens.

I'm kinda mad we just came back from Spring Break and only one of my cat seeds sprouted

Good Girl you are luckey to have her she is beautiful.
My Pitt is the same way, she will take out any trespasser she feels is a threat to her flock and she does watch out for them.

Poor baby

dogs can really do some damage , my Anatolian Shepherd and my rottweiler got into a fight a couple time, even though my Anatolian outweighs my rottweiler the rott got a hold of him and shook him till he layed down and stopped fighting.. nothing i could do but wait till they quit.

I have a small dog and i really keep an eye on him when he is out with me cause he thinks he can get into the middle of a tiff between the big dogs.

My resuced APBT, Ruger, ignores my flock when they are out free-ranging, but it's a different story when my rooster makes his appearence! I have no idea why he is terrified of Chanticleer, but atleast we know who's boss!
