Hello, chickenfolk,
I picked up some bantams from a local Tractor Supply, and I noticed there were some dark spots on one's beak. When I tried to wash off the spots, I discovered they were actually pits. Is this okay/normal/will they go away? Chick is eating, digesting, and really cool (like all bantams). Not sure what kind he or the other three bantams are (but they are clean footed). Also have two red pullets from Tractor (they weren't sure which type of reds) and four white leghorn pullets from Ranch Hand Feed Depot. I love chickens.
