It didn't matter at all to my broody girl, I think she was happy to have more eggs. Mine came from a different farm so I'm sure they smelled funny to her, but she didn't care and she hatched everyone of those cute little mutts! Good Luck with your hatch!

thats just a myth and its totally not true. out of all the broodies that i have had which is like 700,000 it seems like, they never got off the nest from my scent. its just a myth.
