I have always ordered from meyer's, but was tempted to order from ideal this year because their prices are better. But after reading some online reviews that mentioned that some people in the last 6 months have been having problems with their chicks dropping dead at about 6 weeks of age I decided to stick with Meyer's. I also worked out the math on an order and found that although the chicks are cheaper, by the time I am done adding in the fees, boxing fee, small order fee etc. they cost the same as Meyer's.
I ordered our quarterly supply of 12 broilers, and then was hating the shipping charges, so I bought and assortment of 25 laying pullets.... My wifes responce was "What are you going to do with 25 extra hens" My response was "feed them"
