Hi! We thought it would be a good experience to hatch fertile eggs. You can buy hatching eggs on eBay, but we're afraid to, because we're worried none will hatch. What is a trusted place to buy hatching eggs?

Thank you!

We have a Buy Sell Trade section where lots of our members sell them. This section includes a feedback section (look at the dropdown menu in the postbit, below their name) where you can see what other customers have had to say about them, for the sellers who've been selling here a while. Shipping eggs is always somewhat risky because of the USPS, but people do it every day -- and with luck you may find a seller close enough to drive to.

Here is the hatching eggs section:

You might also ask around where you live, perhaps at your feed store, to see if there is someone local.

I don't advertise fertile eggs on CL, but I do sell chicks and chickens that way. Every once in a while someone will call and ask if I sell eggs, so I will. Check your local craigslist, look under the chick ads, then ask them if they sell fertile eggs. If you can find someone local, it would probably be much cheaper and a higher hatch rate than shipped eggs
