Plan B, whats it worth?

Sorry, when I read the title I thought this was about the morning after pill, AKA 'Plan B'...

Now, this time I want to do meaties as they dont hang about so less time for things to go wrong and more meat on a more professional looking carcass but this forum is full of people who raise poultry for less than market value, even meaties.

And yes, milk cows dont have a great meat to bone ratio but they DO HAVE MEAT, and good meat too

so if I got them cheap and kept them cheap then the meat would be, well, cheap lol and keeping them more than 8 months or so would be great but they make enough meat to be marketable veal at less so there must be something worthwhile on a milk bull calf.

Oh, and I am quite handy at the chopping and packaging of large animals, tis fun even

But keep the ideas and opinions coming, brainstorming like this helps me see the flaws first, instead of jumping in and finding them

Have you priced what it costs to butcher and package a whole cow? You mentioned giving the meat to the landowner all wrapped up and ready to go.. that will cost you some money right there.

Where I live, cutting and wrapping beef runs about $.45-$.55 a pound and slaughter is $50-$60 per animal for beef cattle in small quantities. Not a trivial expense.​

Excuse me........Won't watch his children. Won't watch HIS children. Will not? I don't think so. He darned well would watch/take care of his children or I'd be in jail for nailing his parts to the nearest tree. Where do these men get off saying that they won't watch, take care of, "babysit", feed, diaper, etc...their children? Do they think you made them your ownself? Ohhhhhh, makes my blood boil. I don't give a rat's butt how hard they work, you need to sit down with hubby and explain to him that the kids didn't just show up one day. He needs to step up or those children won't give him the time of day when they grow up.
