So my family is going to buy some land out in Weatherford, probably in a two or three months, possibly sooner. As soon as it is ours, we have all agreed to host a meet-up on our property!
There is no specified street yet, as we are still looking at lots, so this will take place in a few months.
Bring your geese, ducks, chickens, anything! Just no agressive dogs please. Oh, and the kiddies are welcome. I am bound to have baby chicks and duckies that they can play with, and will even set up a few things for them to do
I'd be interested in swapping, selling or buying, or just showing off my best chickens, which you can do too!
We will provide food and drinks, but you are welcome to bring your own!
Basically we will be admiring each others poultry, swapping, and selling or buying anything ranging from supplies and incubators to chicks to adult poultry, and having a good time in general. There will be games for the kids.
I will be giving away SQ or breeder quality chicks in a raffle and several other fun games.
So, who is in the area and wants to be a part of this? Also, do you have any suggestions on events or games? I was thinking a chicken race (LOL) just for the heck of it. I'm hoping that everyone will have a good time no matter what we do.
