Okay,
So I have hatched out a BUNCH of baby chicks this year (all mixes) and I bought about 14 chicks from TSC.
Next year I would LOVE to hatch more eggs in my MagicFly incubator!

Eggs I’d like to incubate:
~Blue orpington mixes
~EE
~EE mixes
~Sex link mixes (red)
~D’uccle mixes
~Grey Japanese bantam mixes
~POSSIBLY pure black australorps
~POSSIBLY pure GLW

Sounds like a lot, huh?

BEFORE I even set my incubator I am going to buy/build a huge coop so I will have room for all the new additions that will come later next year.

Sound like a plan?

Also, Yes I do have a plan for extra roosters (my aunts neighbor).

Let me know what you think OR if you think I should add anything else... :)

It's a VERY ambitious plan! I'm having enough to do separating my flock into THREE breeding groups for three weeks before collecting hatching eggs, once annually. Do you have the cock birds, and the logistics worked out, and the separate pens that will be needed?
Or, slow down, back off, and work on fewer (many!) fewer projects next spring. :old

Yup! I don’t do it for breed standards as of now, I do it for chick colors. I have all of the “breeding” chickens already in the spaces they need to be in!! :)

So I’ve decided the breed mixes I’m 100% going to incubate later
D’uccle mixes
Japanese bantam mixes
Blue orpington mixes

Everything is going pretty well! I’ve got a plan for the coop!! I MAY incubate my red star eggs.... hmm
