Planning my peafowl pen/aviary. Need advice.

Great information!

So, I'm thinking that hot wire and netting is the way to go,...and, more space! LOL

Seems to be so many choices for netting,...2 inch, heavy duty knotted sound right? Best source?

C&Rman :

Yeah a racoon or any other predator hasn't got through our flight netting. And I don't even think one would climb to the top and rip it when they could dig under the wire. Also flight netting works real well because when a peacock get startled or something it will fly straight up and netting has a give to it, chicken wire doesn't and it could possibly break their necks.

Ok, sounds like flight netting is the way to go!
Thanks!

The best flight netting I've bought has been off of ebay from a seller called summitcentral. I've kept peacocks, call ducks, chickens and turkeys all in pens with this on top. The netting is going strong 5+ years. Handles snow, sun, and other bad weather just fine for me.
