Needs coop plan and build before getting chickens how do i get plans

I do hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

BYC has Topic of the Week discussions which I have found to be a great resource, informative and sometimes entertaining; so definitely worth checking out.

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.

There are many coop threads on site, posted by many users. There are also ones on Pintrest. A good coop by a member is built by @Pyxis, check it out. It all really depends on the style you want and the amount of birds your getting. Good luck and welcome to BYC!

I built this coop. Or rather I got a talented carpenter to build it for me.

It says the plans are free. Perhaps you'll be able to follow the free instructions. I paid $10 for the more detailed ones. It was well worth it.
