Plant ideas for my coop area

I am wanting to buy some plants for the inside of my coop and I want the plants to be year round please help me

Chicken will eat or scratch up just about anything growing where they can get at it.

The grazing frames shown in the post above keep them from scratching up the roots of the plant so it can survive.
