Is anyone familiar with the Coco Espresso breed? I got 8 pullet chicks at TSC yesterday and would like to know what to expect

That is just another of the hatchery stock crosses.. in this case involving Marans and Rhode Island red.... so not an actual breed. Neither of the parent breeds are particularly problematic or notable, there's simply using the cross to try to produce darker eggs (the marans side of the equation)and good production

Thanks Debbie I read they are a cross of RIR and Maran and lay dark chocolate eggsCan't wait!
