Eating a burger
I have sand in my coop and it's now time to drag it out
So I want to spread it around in a fenced area the chickens and turkeys run in and I want to plant clover and buckwheat in it. Has anyone had success with this? I don't want to try it and then nothing grows because it's too fertile. Thanks

How much sand?
How much area to spread it over?
What's the soil like in that area now?
What is your location in the world?

The coop is about 50'X20' so that's about how much sand. I'm in Texas zone 8, area for it to spread... hmmm.. 20'X70" I think. Soil is rocky and high in clay I'd say
