Planting Garlic

I'm thinking about planting garlic in the fall for my chickens what is the best kind for them? Any tips this would be my first time doing it and I'm in Pa.

I grow Music- Russian red stripe - white German -red German- zemo - + some . The bigger the cloves you plant The bigger the garlic gets next year They love it all I feed them the garlic all year around the skins and all. the eggs don't have any affect And My rabbits love it too. I also live in Pa. They also like chives so try that too.
