Plants chickens avoid?

Does anyone have recommendations on landscaping plants that chickens won't mess with? My husband is I'm the landscaping industry and often beings home beautiful plants only to have them surrounded by eye sore fencing or ripped apart or dug up by the girls. If love to find something they'll avoid. Thanks!

If the plant is higher than the chickens' reach standing, they will generally avoid and go to something easier. My chickens free-range in my yard when I'm outside, and they do not destroy very much for me. My flowers, and other plants are grown at this time of season, so they will not scratch the heck out of the young growth. I also have Day Lilies, that they seem to avoid going into or thru. I have only 7 pet chickens.
