plants safe for chickens

I'm trying to find bushes or shrubs to plant in my chicken run. Whats safe? Right now there is some ivy on the fence. I have Vinica , Bamboo , Hostas Rhodos Azaleas etc. I want to keep it safe but attractive too. We have clay soil and it can get very dry in the summer.

From what I understand they won't eat what is bad for them but I would check first before planting stuff in their run. For instance I have vinca and i have never seen them take any interest in it which is good because it is supposed to be bad for them.

Honestly whatever you plant it won't be there long if they like it. I planted marigolds just outside the fencing and it was gone by the end of the day. Note to self: plant it farther than they can stretch their necks through the fence out to eat it.
