Plastic Fencing: Good or Bad?

def. metal. although its much more expensive it will outlast plastics wear and tear, and metal will keep things out better, if a fox/wolf/coon really wants in he'd chew right through that for a meal. i once found chew marks on my chicken wire, and "it" (whatever it was) had made a hole, but apparently gave up because he never got in. later that year though i actually lost one of my full grown runners because it stuck its head out the regular sized chicken wire holes and its head was taken by something that was around that night.
thats when i bought bunny cage wire its even more costly, but was well worth it for me for my pets. considering i have runners who could stick thier heads through the chicken wire holes, the bunny cage wire is harder to work with as its not as bendable as chicken wire, but its 1/2" by a 1/2" holes keep my ducks heads in, and i've never had a problem with chewy marks again, its too tough for em!

I used the plastic fencing to build a duck cage. It didn't take the rats long to chew through to get to the duck food. I had to rebuild the whole thing with metal fencing.
