The girls seem to like it, they are usually in a pile in a corner. Also a one gallon glass jug with water at around 160f 71c warms the space even when cold. Have yet to see a morning the water was even close to freezing.

Still doesn't make sense for them to roost inside that box if the coop building itself is secure.
