Play Fighting??

Is it only the boy chicks that do the play fighting,bowing down and the raising of the neck feathers and jumping at each other? Or do the girls do that to?

They will all do it, but it's probably more common in males.

My girls did it more than the boys did. None of them do it much anymore.

Yes, just more chicken drama...I think it's funny when they both stop and stare at each other, then, one will holler "BUG!" and run off to chase it, breaking the spell...just can't admit defeat....

That is SO true!!
Mine have only carried on this behavior when they were younger. Generally by the time they're 3 or 4 months old, it's history. And I notice my pullets who end up being more dominiant tend to have carried on this way more than the others...​
