I got curious today about how my chicks would react to hearing the "big chickens" make their noise, so I pulled up a bunch of different videos on youtube. They were so curious, all of the 4 wk olds ran down to the end I had the laptop sitting on, and looked at me, cocked their little heads, and looked at me then started jumping up so they could "see" the other chickens, it was adorable! The funniest thing was that I played a rooster crowing from the breeds that I have, and that got the most attention from the chicks of the same breed. My younger chicks (1-1/2 weeks old) couldn't have cared less. I got no reaction at all from them, but the older ones were pretty comical. They are still looking for the other chickens, and i quit playing it a few minutes ago. Too funny!
