Just a quick update...

For anyone considering this type of arrangement - GO FOR IT!

My birds are SOOOO happy now that they have gotten settled in. They spend their days flying around and chattering to each other and have already been checking out the nest box.

I really am happy with the modifications of the playhouse coop design, and my mother in law has taken to having her coffee in the mornings out on the deck and enjoying the birds too.
