What a steal!! I have been looking for ideas for a "cheap" simple coop that is easy to maintain since I live in the city, but I haven't been able to find any under $300 really.

I'll keep searching - my girls are only 2 weeks old today so I have a little bit of time!

This is a very old thread, but I'd sure like to see the finished run along with the new roosts for the grown chickens. Very nice idea of using a playhouse for your coop. How many chickens do you have now that fit in that coop?
