Playing In The Rain?

Do your hens run around or even stand around in the rain? A couple of mine stay outside until they're soaked! They seem fine, maybe just bored, but I'm worried they might catch a cold!

yep.mine pay no attention to rain.and i was also afraid they would catch cold.my husband put roofs over the runs.so now they stay dry.

Mine like the rain as long it is not pouring rain. They also don't mind a little snow. If the snow accumulates they stay in the coop all day. It's funny because if I go out in the deeper snow, they follow me, but they won't do it on their own. Goofballs.

Yeah Bucky,

They have a covered run attached to the coop, but then also an outer fenced in run (100 feet of fence), and I think they are so bored in their coop run that they go out whether it's raining or not. Funny!

And Sal, mine do the exact same thing in the snow! So funny to watch!
