Playing with chickens.

Has anyone bought a laser pointer just to play with their dog? Well, I have one and was very curious on how it would work on chickens. Last night i walked out to the coop and started the laser pointer. Before i knew it all 14 of my chickens flew down from their roosts and tried to chase this light. It was probably the funniest thing i have ever seen, they were practically crawling over each other to get the light. Has anyone ever did this?

I tried it one time but it was during the day so they really couldn't see it. I'm totally doing it at night

I used to have a black sex link who was TERRIFIED of the laser pointer. My other chickens liked to chase it, but if she even caught a glimpse, she would jump up flapping and freaking out and run off squawking. It's fun to point it on their body, they try to peck or preen it away.
