One of my Silkie hens had gone broody last month so we gave her some extra eggs, including a couple from my Golden Sebright. Numerous times we would find that she would push some of the eggs out of her nest. One of the eggs she would push out would always be a Sebright egg. Even though the eggs were cold we would put them back under her. Last week one of the Sebright eggs was again pushed out and cold. I put it in my incubator just for the heck of it. Yesterday morning this is what I found. I couldn't have been more surprised.
