A few days ago, I realized our two-year-old female outside cat was pregnant. She has had two litters before each with only two kittens (the second litter was quite interesting as she delivered the second kitten almost 48 hours after the first it was alive and healthy). She was relatively round, but I thought she couldn't be past eight weeks, at least, because I could not feel the kittens moving. Today I went outside, and I could feel the two horns of the uterus they were quite firm, and looked maybe as though they had 'dropped.' At least they were more prominent than a few days ago. Then I realized she was leaking brownish-red liquid, as she has done before before delivering, but she has no colostrum letdown. The last two pregnancies she has had colostrum several days in advance. And I still do not feel or see kittens moving (I have not been watching her very long, though). Do you think she is experiencing a miscarriage?
Thank you!
Thank you!
