Hi everyone
I came home yesterday to find my silkie rooster lien on the ground
He cant stand and his foot on one side is all curled up
I put him in a cage in a warm room in my house he is barely eating or drinking
I noticed about a week ago he wasnt crowing and very quiet but I thought he was just gone quiet as there was a broody hen on eggs with him and he was staying with her 24/7
What has happened to my little man !
I tried feeding him some mashed up boiled egg . But barely took a nibble . Even though I found him yesterday he ate and drank while falling over but today he is falling over and staying down also he seemed to be taking a fit and stretching his legs out also . But mayb its down to the pain .
Also I only put him on fresh bedding a few hours ago and the smell is fowl . Stinking isnt the word for it
I feel so sorry for him. And he is my only silkie rooster and ill be devastated if something happens to him also his ladie companions
Any input would be most appreciated
