"Ugh, I know what you meant. Nevermind. No need to get your tail into a knot," she said, sitting back down into her disgusting stall, the flies nibbling at her eyes. Roxanne felt bad, as if she had insulted Kasi somehow. Maybe the mare deserved to be born into a breeding farm and live this horrible life. Maybe.

"I'm sorry about that..." she responded. "They made me do so today, and right after the trauma of having my baby taken away. I bet they're going to take my next one too. I've never actually kept a foal, they've always taken them away." Roxanne sighed.
