Don finished putting the saddle on her, and got on top of it. He took out a large whip, and hit her rump. "Let's go." He said quietly.

Cleopatra jumped a little when the whip touched hre flesh, but obeyed and walked out into a paddock.

Don hit her a few more times for speed, then led her to the arena.

Don stroked her mane a few times, then got off to get something from another two-leg. A larger, heavier whip, with very small blades on the tips. "So, this will make her go faster?" Don asked. The two-leg nodded. Don got back on her, and hit her painfully with the whip, leaving scars.
