I have a pair, King Henry and Queen Elizabeth. Both are about 12 weeks old. King Henry does his mating call constantly, but they are not mating. She actually seems to want to get the heck outta Dodge. She paces quickly around the cage walls as though she wants out. They seem to get along well, though - no fighting, no squawking, nothing bad. I even hear her making the piggy squealing noises as if she is inviting him to mate, but... nothing yet. What should I think? Let me know if you need further information.

My lil ones did that for a few weeks before mating.. I think it is Just them getting used to all their lil hormones. If they arent picking or he isnt bullying I wouldnt worry about it too much..

ETA I would also see about getting another girl or two.. As once he does start mating he may overwhelm her..

Turns out SHE was bullying HIM. I moved them into the outdoor aviary where they have a lot more room. If I can, I will get a few more females as well.
