I put the light to mine starting about 3 weeks ago to get the laying cycle started to have enough to add to the 50 GG eggs I bought. I've gotten all the eggs from my bunch that I need for now, and discontinued the light, but they're still pumpin' them out. I know there's not an egg-valve on them that I can turn off.....LOL.......but, if I get a hatch out in 3 weeks, and want to repeat the process - over and over through the summer by keeping the light on them (throughout the summer), will they be consistent in laying????? ....... Or, is the "clutch cycle" a natural cycle that artificial lighting can't influence???

Well according to what I've read bobwhites can lay anywhere from 70 to 150 eggs a year under artificial light, so lets say your hens lay an average of 120 eggs each a year depending on how many you have I think you'll be covered for quite some time.

Bobs lay in clutch cycles. You turned the cycle on, now it will run its course. Also we're starting to get enough natural daylight now as to trigger them to lay as well... which is likely perpetuating the cycle you started.
