We have a 2 month old polish chick she was given to us for free and was born with crooked beak she is doing well , and I am keeping food and water levels high but at this point the bottom beak is way off , and the positive of it all is that head wig covers the beak so the others have stopped peeking at her, I want to know if besides trimming the beak if there is any other option? the kids love her and it is not about the looks of the chick I am conserned about the beak growing way to far over, and if I do trim it there will be nothing left for her to scoop food with?

Sadly because she is so young, there is a good chance it will get worse and trimming it isn't going to help much. It could, in extreme cases end up at the point the bird cannot care for itself well enough to live without assistance.
