2 days ago I noticed that one of the chicks that hatched here at the house was kinda losing it's balance and and then laying down. I separated her and brought her up to the house. Gave her food and water. I watered down some of her crumbles and added some Nutridrench to it and added electrolytes to her water. She seems to eat and drink fine. Then some research and I decided to add 1/2 tablet of vit B complex and crushed it into her food. I'm not sure what is going on with her, but she can't walk and now she can't stand. I have ordered Poultry cell and should get that today. She doesn't seem to be getting any better and I don't know how long something like this will take? Anyone out there that can guide me a little? Also, I'm having to wash her bum and dry her a bit. I've taken her outside for about an hour each day to get her some fresh air. Please help me save her. I have a video, but am unsure where to upload it to?

1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.
(A) She’s a mix of Black copper maran (dad) and EE (hatched here). 9 weeks old and feels the same weight as the other.

2) What is the behavior, exactly.
(A)When bringing her to her feet, she falls over to either side and sometimes forward. Unable to stand without falling over.

3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
(A) almost 48 hours

4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
(A) No

5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
(A) No

6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
(A) Nothing that I’ve seen.

7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
(A) Purina medicated chick feed. Yes, eating and drinking.

8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
(A) Poop is normal, maybe a little runny.

9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
(A) Yesterday I brought her up to the house. Gave some electrolytes in her water and put some nutridrench in some watered down feed. I also put a crushed ½ tablet of B-complex in that watered down mash. I’ve also ordered Poultry cell and should be here today

10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
(A) Treating myself.

11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
12) Describe the housing/bedding in use
(a) pine shavings

Fyi, medicated feeds have amprolium in it which will block vitamin B1 (thiamine) uptake. So I would recommend changing her to a non-medicated feed because lack of thiamine can cause a chicken to have trouble standing and sitting upright.

Okay, thank you. Will switch now. I don't get it....the other 3 are completely fine. Has me scratching my head.

Most people recommend feeding medicated feed for only the first couple weeks or so and to switch out after that. At 9 weeks the rest of your flock should also switch over to non-medicated.
Okay, these chicks (9 weeks) are separated from the rest of the flock. Flock is on layer. Will switch these over to non-medicated.
