Fancychooklady this vitamins& electrolytes by Agrilabs actualy are not only for poultry only, but it has poultry on the label as well.
I bought a pack anyway but I was wondering if it was as good as some other ones more expansive that I have seen online.
The chicks have been on unmedicated feed always and now that the bag is finishing I am planning to switch them to grower. The feed store actually has a starter/grower feed until they start laying.

Kathy I have the syringe and tube ready in case she stops eating, today she was not bad in eating though.

Chanceschickens and oakhillfarm , how I wish it was just bumble foot but this chick has something way too more serious

I will be dreaming tonight that the huge b2 vitamin dose she got will work a miracle and she will be healthy again.
Have a good night everyone

From the age of 24 weeks they should be having less protein, 15-16%. Whilst they need the higher protein in the growing period, as they get older you run the risk of gout which will render them lame.
Studies show that birds suffering from thiamine deficiency due to prolonged use of amprolium were susceptible to ' poly neuritis ' i.e.( inflammation of the nervous system). Rapidly progressive, ascending motor neuron paralysis, beginning in the feet and ascending to the other muscles in the body.
It's also not recommended that hens of laying age be treated with amprolium due to the potential of second hand effect of thiamine blockers on the human body.

She seems the same. Her first poop is not orange yet, still greenish. I will post the picture from the computer as the phone is not doing it.
Fancychooklady it gets scarier and scarier the more I read online and from the links you are sending. Thank you for reminding me to be more cautious with the medicines I give her.
She had corid for 3 days, should that be enough to rule out cocci?
Should I just processed with the b vitamins now.
Should I give more b2 vitamin?
Kathy, how long is the b2 cure for the curled toes?
She eats on her own whenever I move her to the food and seems alert.
Only her feet and poop are off.

Can you put her in a crate or box so she has food in front of her 24/7? As for the B2, the link that I found that in said two 100ug (micro, not milli) doses, but I don't know if that means in one day or two days. I guess I would try giving it one or two more days along with the Corid. Does she still have access to water medicated with the Corid and is she drinking it?

My instructions from yesterday:

"Take one pill and dissolve it in a cup (8 ounces) of water. Wait for it to completely dissolve. If my math is correct, 0.25ml of that water has a dose that will work for you.

Anyone with decent math skills, please double check for me.

100ug = .1mg"

I just changed her water, thinking that if corid was advised for a few more days to give it with drops in a syringe so I am sure she gets it.
I will give a little b2 as well then.
Thanks Kathy, how does her poop look to you?

I think you should have keep the medicated water in front of her as well as giving the drench. That's how I do it. Poop looks way better!

Ok. I will get a towel and I will give her water with corid as the only source. She got b2 and corid with syringe now. Her legs look more weak but the towel will help, thank you Kathy
