Please Help a new duck owner

I have 2 ducklings approx 1 month old and they are too big for my brooder. I want to put them with my chickens but I am worried about the feed.

I feed my chickens purina layena non medicated and if I put the ducks in there they will have access to the feed.

I've looked books and searched the internet and found that some say it is ok and some say not.

The ducks are pets. I will not be using them for meat or eggs but I do not want to hurt or kill them.

Please help with any personal experiences or info you may have
