Please Help ASAP!!! Blue Cochin missing feathers, the rest of them chewed!!!:O

HELP!!! My blue cochin's feathers look chewed, and she is missing feathers below her butt!! She hasn't been growing any new feathers!!! What caused this? What do I do? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

a lot of times if the area back there is red and raw and the feathers are missing, there could be lice ( I said mites before but either one really). If you look closely at the skin on her vent area or spread the feathers on her belly or under the wing and look at the skin you will see them. They are very small, but you will see them move. You can dust her with Sevin dust and that will help the problem. Should go ahead and dust the others as well. Repeat the dusting in 7 days.

If you see nothing, someone is probably picking her back there.

If she has lice, what type is it? could I get it? where would the others have it?

I just checked her, but she has too many feathers and the ones I can see are filled with dust fom her most recent dustbath. I CAN'T TELL!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

Lice is a major possibility and would treat her just in case. The other thing is a mice! Sounds crazy but it does happen!
