PLEASE HELP! CHICKEN BULLYING THAT WONT STOP!!

I rarely see bullying in my flock because as soon as I saw it.... chick jail got dragged in and the offender was thrown in with no creature comforts. Starts with 24 hrs... released .... 2nd offense=1 week prison... no exceptions. .... works with broody chickens too. Chick Jail always works for me.
That’s awesome 👏 I need to practice more discipline before I give up, for sure!

Rehoming just one hen can be very difficult for the hen. This hen is one of my first, and the favorite of that flock.

I'm really (REALLY) hoping pinless peepers do the trick. Has anyone had good luck with them in a situation like this?

I didn’t think of that, this girl is my favorite and my very first that I hatched, too. I haven’t tried the peepers, I’ll be watching to see how they work for you.

A lot of people do have good luck with the pin less peepers. If they don't work, then you are probably right that one hen must go... Sometimes it is best to send the bully, and sometimes it is best to send the victim. Try one and see how it goes, try it the other way.

It is the "doing something different' until you get peace in the flock that is good husbandry, not the 'wishing they would all be nice.' Chickens in confinement can get very ugly and it will ruin your enjoyment of the whole flock. When you get this solved you will feel the whole flock relax because this is upsetting and adding tension to the whole flock, not just the bully and the victim. It will be an obvious and amazing difference.

So keep trying something else, that is what is important.

There is tension, I do feel it.

I just discovered I've got that problem with a EE hen and I put her in jail tonight, small dog cage, but not sure what to do next. I'm hoping this will work and just curious on how many have you broken this way and generally how long do you have to seperate them. You said no creature comforts... what are you specifically referring to? Just curious and could use some pointers because my other hen hasn't been laying for awhile as well. Thanks alot
