Please help, Day 21 and temp dropped to 25, pipped today and cheeping

Hi please help.

I am hatching eggs for the first time in an brinsea mini eco. temp has been at 37 the whole time and on day 20 one egg pipped and we heard cheeping allday yesterday. cheeping again today on day 21 and 1 other egg pipped but the temp has dropped to 25 yesterday and still today and incubator still not going up,

what can i do if anything at all to help the little chickies

Try using a different thermometer to see if the temperature is reading correctly. If it's truly that low, consider placing a heat lamp over the incubator, but monitor the temps closely. Another option may be a heating pad placed under or over the bator, but again the temp will have to be monitored very closely. First thing is check the temp with another thermometer. Even a medical thermometer will work.

Well, i have just put a blanket round the incubator and the heat lamp shining on it, im just worried really. one did pip when the temp was 25 and cheeping but heard nothing since 3

That one could still be o-kay. If you want, you can remove it quickly and listen for activity, but I would just leave it and hope for the best.

I really do hope so, its so upsetting. the one that pipped thursday morning and cheeped has had no activity since so im not hopefull and the other 4 nothing is happening. i have managed to get the temp back to 35 with the heat lamp and a blanket so fingers crossed i can save the little one
Im not sure i can go through this again

It can take 12 to 24 hours from pip to zip. this is the nerve racking time, just try and sit tight.

Im colse to tears if im telling the truth. im a big animal lover and can stand to think that there not going to make it.

You should remove blanket, the chicks need fresh air while they are hatching.
