Please help do the Math!

I have a coop that is 5'x12' and a run 5'x30'.......How many chickens do you think it could hold?

About 15 , more if they are bantam or allowed to free range.

4sf per chicken in the coop &
10 sf per chicken in the run

Oh that's more then I thought, I have 10 in there now and I was worried about space. Thank you!

5x12+60sq ftdivided by 4 which is 15.5by30 run is 150 sq ft which is again good for 15 chickens.

My coop is 6x8 and I have 10 now. I am getting 5 more. They seemed ok all winter and there is room for 5 more..but my run is much bigger and I fence in parts of the yard in addition to that. I would say if you could free range or give them a bigger run you could get more. If you have a little outdoor or indoor space your job is a pooper scooper.
