Please Help! Duck with trauma!

About 2 hours ago my sweet duck Theodore was run over, I think just one side of his body.
I’m shattered and I’ll do anything I can to help him.
Does anybody have recommendations for treating a broken leg?
He has been calm, eating and drinking like normal..
My biggest concern is blood in his poo!
Please help!!

Do you have access to an Avian Veterinarian ? I would be concerned about possible internal injuries if there is blood in his feces.

Welcome ro BYC, and so sorry about your Theodore. Broken legs can sometimes be set or splinted, and heal, but I would agree that he might be having some internal bleeding. I hope that you can find a vet to help him. While you are looking around for one, keep him calm and quiet, and keep food and water next to him. Let us know how he gets along.
