PLEASE HELP!!!!!Ducks..1 dead the other 2

Ok, I have 3 ducks I hatched from eggs They are about a month old....I had them in the yard today to get excercise like I always do.....I checked on them earlier today.....I noticed that they were eating some mushrooms in the yard but I didnt think anything about it......Then later when I went to put them up I coudnt find them......I finally found them in the front of the house all huddled up.....2 of them were laying on top of the 3rd and it was dead....it was so sad, they wouldnt leave it..they just sat there with it.....I went to pick them up so i could put them up and see what happened to the other one, they didnt run like they would normally.....they just walked off but they walked a little like they were drunk....I was able to just bend over and pick them up.....THAT NEVER HAPPENS....they always RUN....when I was holding them they just sat there didnt even struggle...Wierd............I gave them food and water but they didnt eat or drink it.....they just sat there......OK so I think that maybe the mushrooms are toxic to the ducks or they ate something in the yard.....
Does anyone know what it could be??? could it be the mushrooms or something else???

its sounds like a toadstool, which are poisionous, you need to watch them carefully and hope they pull through. thats one of the dangers of free ranging. i would suggest you make a baby pen for the babies so that doesnt happen again. sorry to hear about the baby.

yes might be toadstools or there are a few more that can kill animals if eaten they pop up overnight.. kicking them or just ripping them up doesnt kil them for good need to be dug up and removed.. so sorry for your lost.

Thanks everybody...I checked on the other 2 this morning and they are still alive but they are still not acting right.....dont look like they have ate any of their food either.
Maybe they will make it....its a good sign that they are still alive. Im going to go through the yard and dig up every mushroom I see.

Be sure not to throw them in your compost pile or you will get mounds of them next spring. I did that last fall

I went out and checked on the ducks again a few mins. ago and 1 more had died.....so only one left....I took it and put it in a kennel on the porch so I can keep a better eye on it. I fear it wont make it either

....I cant believe a mushroom in my yard has done this.....crazy...

edited to add:::: Ijust checked on the one that is left and when I picked it up it had liquid that was clear come out of its mouth and nostrils.....I think it threw up?? It is also bobbing its head up and down and opening and closing its mouth....I wonder if they got a cold or if its those mushrooms????

Bad news....the last of the three just died....Its just so sad....and weird....Im not doing ducks anymore....Ive just had bad luck with ducks...Im sticking with my chicks....thanks for everyones help....
