I’m on day 22, for what I thought were Muscovy eggs but one has already pipped. I’m not sure how long it’s been trying to pip and it’s making noises but I’m so worried as nothing inside was prepared as I hadn’t put them into lockdown yet. So I had to remove the lid to place an anti slip matt and put the cover over the middle part for the water. I’m so scared cause I don’t know how long it’s been trying and when I should intervene or if it’s drying out? I added more water quickly to be safe but can someone please help! Thank you

Leave it alone, keep the temp and humidity good (80% to 85%, or as high as you can), don't open the incubator again unless you absolutely have to. Even a short period of the incubator open can dry out the internal membrane.
That looks like a good pip, if he's strong enough he'll finish out just fine. Sometimes you'll see a pip and then nothing for 12-24 hours, that's okay. It takes a lot of energy to internally pip and then crack the shell open. They will sleep and recover energy for quite some time before starting to zip.
