Hello,
I hope anyone can help me, loosing my mind here
sad.png
.

I wanted to reset the factory settings, since mine was running quite high (100.9) since I put in the last eggs.
I thought it is a simple manouver and it will continue to work fine ... ok, I had to remove the eggs
to another incubator and they cooled off to 82.4 over an hour, I think ... maybe I lost all my partridge and pheasant eggs ...

So now I have switched it several times in somewhat growing panic and I don`t even understand anymore, what`s going on
sad.png
.
First I did like the manual said for factory settings and my light just kept flashing - 3 times in row, then off for a while, then
again 3 flashes, all the time ... My temps started to drop ....

Now I tried to turn on and off the 4 switch and the light started to blink on and off, but not 3 blinks like before.
When I went to check on the bator a bit later, it had started to blink again 3 times and off - cycle ...

Can anyone please help me - which is the OFF and ON of the switches, I am so confused - are they
off, when the upper (near numbers) part of the switches is going sort of "in" and the lower part (away
from numbers) is coming sort of "out"? The black-and-white graphic is soo confusing ...
I`m ready to hang myself.

What is the blinking showing - if it is blinking 3 times and off, and again like that - is that showing
it is not working, ie heating, I have not done reprogramming?

If I turned all swithes on one position at same time, the light was burnind constantly - was that off or on position?
When I turned them all the other way, the light was blinking ...

If it is done reprogramming and starts to heat up again, how should the light blink then, or should it
burn constantly?

Sorry, if this is confusing or stooped. I`m in panic. Maybe I broke it, the switches does not seem to just slide, like
my husband said on the phone (well, he never tested them) but I rather had to push them with a toothpick ...
He said I may have now broken it ....

Thank you, I did search on it like crazy before posting and did now again, can`t seem to find anymore than
this one thread, that really does not help me at this point (the OP on this had the same thing
happen, when doing the factory settings, but later changed something and got it working, but it`s not very clear, what
exaclty she/he changed and how the light started to blink/burn).

Maybe I`m too panicky to understand, or just plain stooped.

Turn all the rockers to the off position. That sould be with all of them pushed down on the left side then push number 3 down on the right side and see what happens.

Hmm, ok, I would try that, but what do you mean by "left side" and "right side"?

Edit: I found the other thread about resetting, but ... still not sure how the on and off positions are
or how the light should blink, if it is heating up.

If you're looking straight at it, with the numbers at the top, off is pressing each little switch down.
To return to the factory setting:
1. Turn all switches off (push them down)
2. Turn on (press up) only the 2,4,6,8 switch and then watch the light
3. When the light flashes, turn off (press down) all the switches. All switches are now in the off position (down)
4. Turn on (push up) only the 4 switch. Now only the 4 switch is on (up)

Leave it for at least 15 minutes. When the light starts blinking the incubator is nearing its set point.

Hope this helps. I agree, it's totally confusing!

Thank you so much!!

Since I have by now no idea, which ones are on or off - could you specify,
do you mean by "pressing each little switch down" that I should press
down (or sort of more inside of the thing) the lower end of the swithes (away
from the numbers)?
Because if I start with switches that are the other way, I could also push
down (or inside) the upper part of them - near the numbers?

Oh god, sorry, this is confusing.

Danny, thanks so much for the offer of help - I live in Europe, so by phone
it might be too expensive, I think.

Edit: I tried it that way - assuming that when the away-the numbers part is
pushed "in" (or down) is OFF.
1. Turned all down, lower parts in. Light started to burn constantly ( I think by that
you can know, if this is OFF or if you have it backwards, all switches are the opposite way,
then the light is blinking, not burning constantly.
.....
When I finished, just as the above given instuctions, the light started to burn constantly,
like I thought might be right, when it is heating up.

I hope I now have it working, thank you so much!
