hi I am getting chicks in June and I need help on how to set up their brooder and find some of the most docile birds what feed should I feed them what's the best water/food feeder and what bedding to use.sorry for so many questions

ChickenCanoe is spot on...if you start with the Learning Center you'll pick up all sorts of good information to care for your birds at every stage.

There's also a forum called Raising Baby Chicks you might find helpful.

Good luck with the new little ones, they are a lot of fun.

i just wanna say before you get aniamls and before you even order them always do research.

What are looking for?Do you want docile egg layers?
You can bed them on hay, straw,or large woods shavings.
You should feed the chicks medicated chick feed
Make sure you a buy a water tank.Feel it about half way for at least the first 3 weeks.Chicks don't drink huge gulps of watet and have small beaks. However they can eat all their feed within a hour so provide them with all day feed and lots of it.
