Nooooooooo - I'm a veggie and the whole point is to rescue them! If he's a first-class pain/bully we'll separate him from the hens but for now he's fine as he is.

If he is already attacking you make sure that he never has access to children. Such birds tend to go for the face, and kids come with only one set of eyes. It's a matter of responsibility.

Please don't underestimate his actions, keep a close eye on him and if he attacks you'll have to get rid of him. Preferably euthanize or rehome with FULL disclosure!

It will take a lot to make me euth or even rehome because no-one wants males and I would worry about his fate.

I will be vigilant and gather any info I can to help him be a happy and friendly boy.

I’m a super chicken newbie and this chicken came in what was supposed to be a group of all hens but it didn’t look like a hen to me! Lol I can’t have another rooster in my flock at this time so I had to be sure before I put them in. The lady didn’t give me any age or breed info or anything :/

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he is a roo.
