Please help, I have some questions that I need answers to.

So I have a buff pekin hen who is unwell. She is about 7 and a half years old. Recently, I noticed that one of her nostrils has become inflamed and blocked. Since then, she has been sneezing and making gurgling noises when she breathes. I thought it was just a cold and that it would go away on it's own, but it has been a couple months now. She doesn't seem to be getting any better or any worse. Also, she has white lesions/growths coming out of her comb. Recently, I have been adding solaminovit powder to her water. I also tried to see if I could remove anything from her nose using warm water and a tooth pick but its all solid and nothing would come out.

Also, I have a polish chicken of about 5-6 months. Ever since she was a baby, she has had watery eyes. She is always wiping them on her feathers and it doesn't smell great. This interferes with her sight, as she is always running into things. But recently I noticed something strange. Her eyeballs actually vibrate. It looks like a twitch, but is in both eyes and occurs simultaneously, about 2 seconds off, 1 second on.

I would take them to the vet, but normal vets don't really know anything about chickens, so they would have to go to an avian specialist and I just don't have the resources for that. Any ideas or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

With your older hen I wondered if she just has some old-age growths that are interfering with her breathing (at over 7 years old!) But now I'm wondering how the two might be related.
Perhaps the flock has some respiratory disease she's grown resistance to but the younger one hasn't?
