I was playing with the little silkie chicks and all was fine but then I saw a little dribble of blood I thought bloody poop!!! And then saw Belle was bleeding and she herself was pecking her own foot the others love to peck feet so I knew they would peck her we have their brooder in the pole barn but it was a bit chilly so I brought her inside how can I bandage it and make sure it doesn’t open back up? She is now sitting in my arm it looks like a feather shaft on her foot and maybe a little cut? Can’t tell very well you can’t see good on the pic it looks worse in real life because the phone wouldn’t focus but that’s where it is on the foot.

Hi! Put pressure on it to stop the bleeding. Then put some antibiotic ointment on it and try to keep it clean. Keep an eye for infection, chick should fine!

it's definitely nothing bad. In fact, it'd probably be fine to leave it as is, but of course, you should do something for her. Just clean the area with water, and apply some antibiotic ointment!! the cut isn't bad at all, probably just scratched herself somewhere. no need for a bandage.

Thank you so much I held her until stopped bleeding then put her in she is doing great thanks for helping!!!
