Please help identify if these are cockerels or pullets....They are almost 12 weeks old.

Pointy hackle and saddle feathers, tail beginning to curl, large red wattles and comb, I agree with Sourland - it's a cockerel.

Darn it, we can’t keep him once h starts crowing. They assured us he was female.

'Buffy' is a cockerel.

Not 100 % but I agree with those saying black cockerel and blue pullets. A couple of more weeks will tell the tale.

For anyone interested in learning what these 3 Ameraucana turned out to be...The black one is indeed a cockerel/roo. The 2 blue (gray) are pullets/young hens.
